Thunderstruck
Tribute to AC/DC

Formed from the ashes of several other AC/DC tributes over five years ago, Thunderstruck quickly established themselves as the top of their kind in North America. Thunderstruck continued its onslaught across the country last year, including gigs thoughout Ontario, westbound across Canada to Alberta, and eastbound all the way to St. Johns, Newfoundland.

Blair (Singer for Thunderstruck) commented that surprisingly one of the toughest challenges doing a tribute act is keeping it all in perspective sometimes. He reflected on a recent show with The Five Man Electrical Band (Signs, Absolutely Right) now opening for Thunderstruck. "Sometimes this just isn’t fair," Blair quipped. "We didn’t write our own songs, but here we are headlining these guys, a ‘real’ band! As for us, Thunderstruck started out as just a weekend gig that got out of hand many years ago," Blair joked. "But bottom line is about the music".

And how true that is... AC/DC's music speaks for itself. Fans young and old cant help but jump, shout and raise a cheer to the likes of AC/DC. Thunderstruck delivers a performance that makes you believe, and pours out the kind of energy that you might have witnessed from an AC/DC back in 1978.
