By the end of the first set the band knew that they were on to something big. Suddenly, The Disco Knights were born. Following an appearance on City TV's morning show "Breakfast Television", The Disco Knights went on to play in front of an estimated five thousand spectators during Toronto's 2nd Annual Yonge Street Festival. The expression on the faces of those who crowded the streets of the city was that of disbelief. This performance proved to be a huge success and landed the band a series of gigs which forged their place in the city's live music scene.
