Tribute to Janis Joplin

When Krista sings Joplin's hits such as Cry Baby, Piece of My Heart and Bobby McGee, it is not uncommon for audiences to be in tears or in complete shock, believing that they are witnessing the real thing! A major highlight of the show is Krista's ability to improvise and banter between songs, providing an intimate look into the connection Janis had with her audience on stage. Krista has the sights, sounds and motions of Janis in concert down to a tee, providing audiences with an experience they will never forget!

In addition to the 90 minute Tribute show, Krista offers a 30 minute opening out-of-costume set as herself titled "The Janis Connection". This set highlights the music of Janis Joplin's friends and bands who also got their start in San Francisco in the late 1960's, artists she knew and often shared the same bill with, singers she herself admired and other female artists who have been influenced by her style and delivery. All of the people Krista pays tribute to had a piece of Janis in their hearts in various ways.

Her act can also be performed to tracks and she is available for musical Legends shows, photo ops, singing telegrams and meet-and-greets.
