EDWARD “BLu” DOTTIN His musical background stems from his start in the Revivaltime Tabernacle Church Choir for over ten years. Edward’s longevity with the Chicago Bluesfest ran yearly from 1996 through 2002. In 1999 he was approached to go on tour with the Sinbad Bahamas Jazz Group, which he enjoyed tremendously. Edward has opened as a soloist for such groups as Boyz II Men on their “Evolution Tour” and Kirk Franklin on the GOD’s Property STOMP Tour”. Even though Edward has many years of experience and exposures to his name he considers himself the “rookie” of BLuSouL. However, his contribution and dedication to the group is essential, as he is the musical director and founder of the group. Edward not only brings his voice and harmonizing to the group, but his loyalty to the success of BLuSouL speaks volumes.

JIVARO “REV” SMITH Jivaro “REV” Smith, of North Preston, Halifax has been quite successful in both the musical and theatrical aspect of entertaining. He was a cast member in the widely successful ensemble of Disney’s The Lion King where he played the role of “Simba” and in “Dirty Dancing” where he plays the role of TITO. With a vocal range that starts low enough to consider him a true baritone and ends high enough on the tenor scale to give him the mark of a true crooner from the Motown era, Jivaro has proven himself on stages around North America to be an old soul in a young body. His strong and raspy delivery will be sure to send chills up your spine as his skills mirror the likes of Teddy Pendergrass, Otis Redding and John P. Kee. Jivaro is an outstanding showman with vintage vocals that are sure to satisfy any audience tastes.
