The FunKtion is a 12 piece band that pays tribute to the true great artists of Motown, Soul and Funk era. Formed in 2003, the band was put together by musicians, with many years of experience, who have a passion for the style of music that The FunKtion delivers. The FunKtion has been described as “putting the audience in the moment of the music”, which, for The FunKtion, is a great honor.

With three power house female vocalists fronting The FunKtion, delivering smooth, soulful vocals, a five piece horn section and a tight rhythm section, brings it all together musically, to deliver a high energy show, that is not easily forgotten.

The FunKtion pays tribute to the likes of, among others, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers, Smokey Robinson, Wilson Picket; If that’s not enough to “get your groove on” how about a serving of Tower Of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, and James Brown!
