The Wholigans
Tribute to The Who
The Wholigans were formed in the early 80’s in Toronto, Canada and over
the years have toured extensively around the world and have worked themselves
to being the worlds #1 and most sought after Who tribute band out there.
In 2003 alone the band played: Germany in the spring, USA & Canada
in the summer, England in the autumn and more USA dates in the winter
and spring of 2004.
Three of those shows were WHO conventions ...Hamburg , London, &
New York with yet another Who convention May 1st in Toronto Canada.
The Wholigans have even played a Who show in Tampa, Florida in 2000
at the ice palace, also performing for between 100,000 and 400,000 people
at large outdoor festivals such as Guavaween and Gasparilla.
The Wholigans revive the energy and look of the late 60’s early 70’s
live at leeds WHO. With The Who and their music having a resurgence in
the rock n roll arena this surely is a great time for all fans of The
Who.
The Wholigans are an exact replica of The Who Live at Leeds era, complete
with the smashing of the gear! In sight & sound you won't believe
how close to the real thing they are, from the thrashing windmills to
the mic swinging & all the original stage equipment and stage outfits.
The set list contains everything recorded up until Keith's final days.
The Wholigans capture the anger and the passion of the 'original' and
only WHO for many fans.
